The drive home from church was always filled with excitement and anticipation for the coming day. They had a pet Collie that was always glad to see everyone when they arrived home from church, like they'd been gone for a year! Matt's neiborhood was religiously diverse, the Fireman and his family were Catholic, while the Mason and his were Christian Scientists, but Sunday was always a free day for the neighbors to visit and the kids to play. The fireman's family was still growing as they had just welcomed a newborn a month before Matt's first birthday.
